Timekeeper

Since bitten by the SAK bug the Timekeeper was one of the models that was a must have . It combines two of Switzerland’s most noted products. The Swiss Army Knife and a Swiss produced timepiece. The Time Keeper is an unusual 91mm Victorinox Knife. Embedded in the front scale is a small analog watch. This is perhaps Victorinox’s first attempt at mating electronic devices into their knives, not to mention the Swiss passion for timepieces. This model starts with the popular tool set of the Compact and replaces the tweezers with the Watch. Early versions had a dial with two Roman numerals (XII and VI) and 10 dashes. I was lucky enough to find a NIB one on Ebay.

The tools include:

Layer Tools

Large Main Blade

Scissors

Combination Cap-Lifter/Can-Opener tool

Back Layer Tools

Multipurpose Hook – newer versions include nail file/match striker.

Corkscrew

Mini-Screwdriver

Keyring

Scale Tools

Watch

Removable Ballpoint Pen

Toothpick

Straight Pin

Introduced in early 1992, it was discontinued in 2007, but supply could have been from inventory for several years. While scarce, it was still available for purchase in 2010.
